Zweites Gesetzbuch
Im Grunde handelt es sich bei Peter MacNaughton-Smiths (1968) second code weniger um einen zweiten Code, wie der Begriff gelegentlich übersetzt wird, sondern um ein ungeschriebenes Gesetzeswerk, also gewissermaßen ein ungeschriebenes zweites Gesetzbuch. Indem man genau beschriebe, nach welchen Regelmäßigkeiten zum Beispiel die Polizei die geschriebenen Gesetze (verändert) anwendet - indem sie etwa bestimmte Leute kontrollier und andere nicht, bei bestimmten Leuten nachgibt und bei anderen nicht usw. - könnte man auch dieses zweite Gesetzbuch in Schriftform bringen.
